Appointment Info

Before Your Appointment

Please arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes. Any residue — including makeup, oil, or sweat — can affect how well your extensions bond and may cause them to fall out early.

If you need to cleanse your lashes, no worries — lash wash is available, and I’m happy to do a lash bath for you. Just be sure to arrive 10 minutes early so we have time to prep properly.

Lash Extension Aftercare

1. Avoid Oil-Based Products
Oils break down the adhesive that holds your extensions in place. Steer clear of oil-based cleansers, moisturizers, and makeup around your eyes to avoid premature shedding.

2. No Mascara, Please
Mascara can close up lash fans and is nearly impossible to fully remove. It weakens the bond and causes retention issues. If you’re feeling like you need more fullness—schedule a fill instead!

3. Watch Out for Sweat & Humidity
Always rinse or wash your lashes after workouts to remove sweat. Avoid steam-heavy environments like saunas and hot yoga when possible, or wash immediately after.

4. Be Mindful When Sleeping
Sleeping on your face or sides can cause lashes to fall out faster—especially the outer corners. Try to sleep on your back when you can, and gently brush lashes in the morning to reshape them.

5. Avoid Heat & Flames
Lash extensions can singe or crinkle when exposed to heat—be careful near ovens, campfires, cigarettes, and hair dryers.

6. Clean Lashes Daily
Daily cleansing is key. Buildup of oil, dirt, and makeup can lead to poor retention and even infections like blepharitis. I’ll show you how to properly clean your lashes to keep them healthy and long-lasting.
